OUR CRUISING SAILS
For more than 30 years our loft has been involved directly with cruising sailors, both visiting and local to the Gold Coast. We are sailors ourselves, and understand that every boat is uniquely different in its setup, and that every cruiser is unique in their requirements and means.
Our custom sails come with everything fitted, or we can use existing hardware. We are local to install, and here to assist in the future. We will spend the time on site to measure up and install the sail correctly; fitting reefing lines and ensuring the sail is perfect for the rig and boat. We work closely on a daily basis with the local riggers, and can co-ordinate with them anything required.
- Individual, personalized Sail design file
- Crosscut or Tri-radial cut using Premium Dacron, Pro-Radial or Laminate sail cloth
- Seams three rows zig-zag stitching with UV stabilised thread
- Stainless steel rings reinforced with webbing
- Extra heavy radial patches
- Twin plyed Leech for reefing points
- Extra large or double tapes with a minimum of 2 stitching rows
- Heavy duty batten pockets with Velcro lock or tie in type
- Alloy headboards and luff hardware
- Low stretch leech line with Clam Cleat, and foot lines
- Two draft stripes for visual reference of draft position
- Sail Numbers or logo
- Leech ribbons and tell-tales
- Large sail bag
